Dr. Suzanne Carlisle was one of the top graduates of her Dental Class at the University of British Columbia. She is a member of the O.K.U. Dental Honor Society. She has a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University. Her background includes nursing at VGH and St. Paul's Hospitals, Research at U.B.C, S.F.U., Xerox Canada, Ballard, and Merck Frosst Pharmaceuticals. When time allows, she teaches clinical dentistry on a part-time basis at the University of British Columbia. Currently, she is involved with an International Straight-wire Study Club which meets on a regular basis to discuss advances and techniques in Orthodontics.

Dr. Carlisle has lived in the tri-cities for 15 years. She has two young daughters. Her husband works as an Enviromental Health Inspector with Health Canada.
Dr. Lawrence Strother has lived and worked in the Tri-city area. Following graduation from McGill University, he spent a year as a dental resident at Vancouver General Hospital. He then began general practice in Coquitlam where he worked for 30 years prior to relocating to Port Moody and continuing his practice as Rocky Point Dental.

Orthodontics is a particular interest of Dr. Strother's and he has obtained an advanced certificate in orthodontics for general practitioners from UBC. He has been an active participant in an orthodontic study club for 20 years. He keep current in all aspects of general dentistry at continuing education courses and hands-on clinics.

Dr. Strother is married with two adult children and three grandchildren. An avid golfer, he is a longtime member of the Vancouver Golf Club.
