We provide state-of-the-art skeletal and dental digital radiography in three areas:
General radiographs show cavities, bone loss and infection.
Panorex shows TMJ, wisdom teeth, sinuses, fractures and some pathology.
Cephalometrics show head and neck skeletal features for orthodontic purposes.
All of our equipment utilizes Gendex phosphorous plate technology. This offers four advantages:
Lower radiation than conventional film radiography
Ability to make images darker, lighter and to adjust contrast without having to retake radiographs.
Fast communication with other dental professionals via safe electronic transmission.
No need for chemical developers in the office!
We take great pride in maintaining all of our radiograph equipment to ensure the lowest possible patient exposure by regular weekly testing of our machines. Once per year we have our equipment tested by a representative of the British Columbia Dental Association.
